Anne Adams married first Moses Gould sometime before the birth of their first child Thomas Adams Gould in Lisbon (then Lincoln County) Maine in 1799. Moses and Anne recorded the births of 8 children in the Lisbon town records between 1799-1815. Moses died, supposedly in a logging accident, on 26 March 1816. Anne married recent widower and long time neighbor Hugh Owen on 16 September 1827 in Lisbon and they moved to the nearby town of Wales where they were enumerated on the 1830 census.
