Stella Myers, 78, of Moberly died Wednesday, February 26, 2014. She was born on July 28, 1935 in Higbee, MO to Ralph Elmer and Edith Evelyn (Floyd) Carroll.
Prior to retirement Stella worked for Woolworths Five and Dime. She was a member of the Moberly First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
Stella married Herschel Myers on February 4, 1952 in Arkansas and he survives of the home. Also surviving are her children, John William Myers and his wife Karen of Ankeny, IA and Debby Sartain and her husband Jerry of Cairo, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Virgil and Roy.
Memorial contributions to the Moberly First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) would be appreciated.
Services honoring and celebrating Stella's life were at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Committal prayers and burial followed in the Higbee City Cemetery.
