Funeral services for Mrs. Jo Carver who died in St. Mary's hospital Thursday morning, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday Moran & Sons' funeral home with burial in Fairlawn cemetery.
Mrs. Carver, the wife of Raymond Carver, had been ill since May.
Having lived in Decatur all her life, Mrs Carver was a teacher in the Brush College school until ill health force her retirement. She was a member of the First Methodist church and of the White Shrine of Jerusalem.
A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. I. Cobalt, now living in Mt. Vernon, she was born in Decatur in 1906 and was married June 11, 1934 in Springfield. She leaves only her husband and her parents.
