Man, Wife Critically Burned When Truck Tips
Mt. Clemens, Mich.
William Smock, 43, and his wife, Lila, 37, were burned critically early today when their panel truck overturned and burst into flames at a city intersection. Police said the truck hit a curb, ran out of control about 225 feet, hit the opposite curb and rolled over. Smock and his wife were trapped in the burning truck about 10 minutes before police and firemen could free them. They were taken to St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital here.
