Lois Jean Brinkley was born April 4, 1943 in Magazine Arknsas daughter of Orphie and Henry Preston Loyd. She passed away March 4, 2014 at Elk City Oklahoma at the age of 70 years and 11 months.

Lois grew up in Elk City where she attended school. She was married to Tom Troy Brinkley at Elk City Ok. on July 11, 1959 and they made their home in Elk City. Lois owned and operated Brinkley's Cleaning Service for a number of years while working as a home health nurse. She loved to sew, drink hot tea, sing and embroidery.

She was a member of the Lion of Judah Lighthouse and recently had become an ardained minister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 daughter, Roslynn Kay Brinkley, 1 grandson, Joshua Henry Coleman, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

She is survived by her 3 daughters, Tammy King of Naples TX. Sherry Brinkley of Elk City OK. Paulla Cooper and husband John of Elk City OK. 1 SON, Scott Brinkley, 1 brother, Eulan Loyd, 3sisters, Faye Dowdell, Linda Olivas all of Elk City OK. Rosa Mitchell of Amarillo, TX. 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation at 2p.m at Whinery Savage Chapel, 403 W. Country Club ELK city OK. burial in Elk City Cemetery.
