History has a strange way of repeating itself and this is true for John Alphonzo Eckersley. John's mother Leah Harman past away in 1778 just prior to John's first birthday...His 1st wife, Emma Hirschi passed away in 1911 when their youngest son, Earl Hirschi Eckersley was just two. And John's 2nd wife Rose Lena Curtis passed away in 1934, just weeks short of their youngest son, Teddy's first birthday. John spent his life relying on his faith. Caring for and loving all of his children until his death in 1943.
