TAMMS -- Lucille Mayberry, 96, died at 2:55 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014, in Southeast Missouri Hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Crain Funeral Home in Tamms. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Pulaski. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Lucille Mayberry, 96, of Tamms, died at 2:55PM on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born March 3, 1917 in Mississippi County, MO, daughter of Fred and Annie Sharp Miller. She married Montdean Mayberry in 1934, he preceded her in death in 1974. Lucille was a member of the Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses for more than 40 years. Her pride at home was her rose garden. Lucille loved to travel extensively throughout the U.S. and Canada, even climbing Mt. Ranier. Survivors include her children, Charles (Dorothy) Mayberry of Jacksonville, FL, Rose RedCloud of Tamms, Franklin Dewayne (Dorothy) Mayberry of Cairo, Charlotte (Al) Dover of Tamms, Joanna RedCloud of Ozark, AL and Bonnie (Terry) Absher of Cape Girardeau; 16 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sisters, Leota Riddle of Sikeston; Rita Vines of Tulsa, OK and Betty Parker of Villa Ridge; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by 4 great-grandchildren, son-in-laws, Robert RedCloud, James RedCloud and Charles RedCloud, brother Glenn Miller, sisters, Shannon Ledbetter and Wanda Martin. Visitation will be from 5PM to 8PM, Thursday, March 6, 2014 and from 10AM to 2PM on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms. Funeral Services will be held at 2PM on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms with Brother Carl Clark officiating. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pulaski. Memorial contributions can be made to the Cairo Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses and will be accepted at the funeral home.
