Graveside services for Miss Inda Melson, 92, of Chattanooga, were held at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon at the Lynchburg Cemetery. The Rev. Jacob Gardner officiated.
Miss Melson died early Monday morning in a Chattanooga hospital, following a long illness.
She was a native of Moore County, a daughter of the late H. R. and Mattie Edens Melson. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Locker of Chattanooga, and Mrs. Pauline Whitney of Miami Beach, Florida; and one brother, Jim Blytie Melson of Flint, Michigan.
Ralston Chapel was in charge of local arrangements.
