Died, Monday night after an illness of some six weeks, Mr. Phineas Cole, aged 84 years, 8 months and 11 days. Mr. Cole has been troubled for years with chronic lung trouble and coupled with his old age, it took but a slight attack of
pneumonia to carry him off. Mr. Cole was an honored citizen and greatly respected and loved by all. The funeral was held Wednesday from the Presbyterian church, Rev. Montgomery officiating.
