Beard Services Held Saturday
Funeral service for Mrs. Mary Beard, pioneer county resident wh: died Wednesday night, were at 2 p.m. Saturday in the church of the Nazarene with Rev. Ervin Emmert, pastor, officiating.
Burial was in El Reno cemetery under the direction of Wilson funeral home.
She was born July 14, 1874 in Alabama and came to Canadian county in 1899 when she and her husband homesteaded 12 miles west of El Reno. She had lived in El Reno since 1927 and was a member of the church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include three sons, Roy, Calumet; Floyd and Olen, Salem, Ore.; a daughter, Mrs. A. M. McCrary, Ontario, Calif., thirteen grandchildren and a number of great and great-great grandchildren.
