Rites Tuesday For Mrs. Dirksen
Mrs. Helen Dirksen, 58, 616 Burnett Ave., died Saturday* at Mary Greeley Hospital.
She was born April 7, 1902 at Nevada. She was married to Henry Dirksen in 1921 at Nevada.
Survivors include a brother, Emmett Abbott, Ames; three half-sisters, Mrs. A. C. Elkens of Miami, Fla., Mrs. George Maly of Chicago and Mrs. George Bacon, Des Moines and five nieces.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Home, with the Rev. Roger Knight of the Gilbert Congregational Church officiating.
Burial will be in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the Stevens Funeral Home tonight.
