LORAIN - Denice M. Dembiec, 54 of Lorain, died Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.

Born July 18, 1959 in Lorain, she lived in Lorain her entire life. She graduated from Lorain high School in 1979.

Denice enjoyed going to the movies and reading. She was also an avid Cleveland Browns fan.

Surviving is her mother, Joanne Dembiec of Lorain; brothers, James (Karen) and Edward A. both of Lorain; and sisters, Karen (Michael) Kuehne of Elyria and Kathy (William) McAvoy of North Olmstead.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward T. Demiec in 2001.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 9:30 am until the time of services at 10:30 am in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 41295 N. Ridge Road, Elyria. Rev. Donald Dunson, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
