Glennie Cundiff Brown, 83, of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at her residence.

She was a native of Hardin County, a dedicated housewife and a loving mother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Smith Brown Sr.; her parents, Ambrose and Lula Skeeters Cundiff; two brothers; and seven sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Carroll (Jackie) Brown of Sonora and Ray Smith "Buddy" (Lisa) Brown Jr. of Elizabethtown; two daughters, Jane (Greg) Brown-White and Barbara Jean Brown, all of Elizabethtown; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral is at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Don Sexton officiating. Burial follows in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and continues at 11 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hosparus of Central Kentucky.
