A note in page 15 of this document "(7 small children, whose records are in Bouton-Boughton Family Genealogy)", and a further page 16: "Note – Records of 7 small children of Ira & Catherine Bouton" present data relating to these children. There is no positive written indication in cited SCHS "Records Old Cem., Jefferson Village" document exactly where these Bouton children were interred, but their likely gravesite is the Bouton Family Plot at Jefferson Cemetery. An additional twist, the Bouton-Boughton Family Genealogy shows eight Bouton children were born and died in Jefferson, NY each child aged three years or less. From Bouton Family Genealogy. The eight above cited young Bouton children of Ira & Catherine each were born and died aged three years or younger, in Jefferson, Schoharie County, NY, USA, the last child Frederick was born on the day his mother died (29 Nov 1844), so mother Catherine likely died from childbirth complications. Also, the 8th child listed Sarah Adaline Bouton is cited in the Bouton Genealogy, b. 11 Jun 1828, d. 24 Aug 1829 at Jefferson, NY, but Sarah is not listed in the main source SCHS Library Record of interments at "Old Jefferson Cem." Only three-of-eleven Bouton children evidently lived to adulthood and each later married, they being Hannah Maria Bouton (b. 13 Aug 1821 in Jefferson, NY), Harriet Fidelia Bouton (b. 14 Jul 1830 in Jefferson, NY), and James Albert Bouton (b. 10 Nov 1834 in Jefferson, NY).
