Juozapas Teodoras Blažaitis, son of Motiejus Blažaitis and Juozapota Tamošaitytė, was born on November 9, 1821 in the village of Kuturiai. He was baptized on the same day in the Jurbarkas RCC by the vicar priest Tomas Bojašinskis. The godparents were nobleman Juozapas Marušiauskas with Barbora Blažaitienė (page 250v)

Juozapas Blažys, youth, age 28, and Magdalena Meletaitė, maiden, age 23, both peasants from the village of Kuturiai, married on November 26, 1846 in Jurbarkas RCC. The marriage was performed by the vicar priest Leonas Kervelis after three banns announced on November 10, 17 and 24. Groom's parents were peasants Motiejus Blažys and Juozapota Savickaitė. Bride's parents were peasants Motiejus Meleta and Agnetė Angelskaitė. Witnesses were Mykolas Telišiauskas, Juozapas Pipiras and Mykolas Klimas (rec. no. 24, page 75)

Juozapas Blažys, son of Motiejus, died of senility at age 76 years in the village of Kuturiai on July 8, 1897. He was widower, husband of earlier deceased Magdalena Moletaitė. He left behind his sons Kazimieras, Motiejus, Rokas and daughter Jadvyga. His body was buried by vicar priest Antanas Kižys on July 10, 1897 in the parish cemetery of Jurbarkas (rec. no. 48, page 167v)
