Andrew A. Marvin, 97, of Ephrata, PA and formerly of Oxford, PA, died at Ephrata Manor on Sunday, June 2, 2019. He was the loving husband of the late Eva O. (Gore) Marvin, who died September 12, 1998, and son of the late Robert P. and Matilda (Flyzik) Marenchick.

Andrew is survived by two daughters: Barbara A. Marty and Teresa M. wife of George Beever, all of Ephrata PA; four grandchildren: Jennifer, Mark, Erin, and Timothy; two great-grandchildren: Ava and Dawson; three nieces; and one nephew.

In addition to his wife and parents, Andrew was preceded in death by his five siblings: Mary, Stephen, Eugene, Paul, and Lawrence.

Andrew graduated from Lehighton High School and The Pennsylvania State University and worked as a Dairy Sanitarian. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was awarded six Bronze Battle Stars.

A faithful and active member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church in Ephrata, Andrew served as Altar Person and Eucharistic Minister. He was also a member of the Legion of Mary and former Grand Knight in the Knights of Columbus.

Viewings will be held at Paul L. Gravenor Home For Funerals, 100 W. Main St. Ephrata, PA 17522 on Thursday, June 6 from 6-8 p.m. (Christian Prayer Service at 7:30) and on Friday, June 7 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church, 320 Church Ave. Ephrata, PA 17522 on Friday, June 7 at 11:00 a.m. Final Commendation and Farewell will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Ephrata, PA.
