Mary Evers was the daughter of Michael Evers and Mary Sinnott. Her first marriage was to Herbert Clifton Abbey (1867-1902) in about 1893, a son of Daniel Josiah Abbe(y) and Amelia Vosburg Osborne. Mary and Herbert had 2 sons; Herbert Abbey (1894 - ?) and Evers Abbey (1895-1966). Her second marriage was to George Alanson Lessey sometime from 1904-1910.
