Mrs. Mattie Lee Warren, age 87 of Adairsville, GA died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Gordon County Health Care.
Mrs. Warren was born in Crenshaw County, AL on March 21, 1924, the daughter of the late Charlie Elonzo Screws and Mattie Kate Benton Screws. She worked for many years as a supervisor at Fox Manufacturing Co. Mrs. Warren enjoyed quilting and working in her flower garden. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. In addition to her parents Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Howard Warren; son Charlie Warren; son-in-law, Michael Harris Duck; brothers Bill Screws and Hugh Screws; sisters, Mary Shreves, Tinnie Petty and Dorothy Railey.
Survivors include her daughter, Martha Lee Warren Duck; grandchildren Meridy (Jerry) Wright, Matthew (Snody) Duck and Trent Warren; great-grandchildren, Ben and Mikaylia Wright and Andri and Matthew Duck.
Graveside and interment service will be held, Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. in the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with Greg Bowen delivering the eulogy.
