William J. "Bill" Abel, 99, of Roseto passed away Wednesday February 26, 2014 in Old Orchard Health Care Center, Easton, PA Born: In Nazareth,PA, a son of the late John J. and Mary Eckert Abel. Bill was married to the late Concetta Pellechia Abel. Personal: Bill enjoyed spending his time teaching others about the Bible. Bill was an avid fisherman, who loved spendimg his time on Lake Minsi with friends and family, and enjoyed spending time working in his garden and playing his guitar and harmonica around his fireplace Memberships: Bill was an active member and Elder of the Roseto Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Survivors: He is survived by his son-in-law Harold Moser of Roseto and a granddaughter Danielle R. Johnson and her husband Michael of Roseto and three great grandchildren Sean M. Johnson and Abigail M. Johnson both of Roseto and Carissa R. Guzman and her husband Michael of Bath. A daughter Rachel Ann Moser and brothers John and Charles and a sister Ruth Abel Butz all died earlier. Services: A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday March 5, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 347 Blue valley Drive, Bangor. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in the Roseto Presbyterian Cemetery, Roseto. The Fiore Funeral Home www.fiorefuneralhome.com 230 Market Street, Bangor is handling the arrangements.
