Page 51: Judge Freeman Perry "died a venerable and venerated man of eighty-one years of age, and lies buried on the old homestead by the side of his wife and his father (Benjamin Perry) and many others of his family". Pg 109: Benjamin Perry, b. (circ.) 1677; d. Sept., 1748; m. Oct. 11, 1721, Susannah Barber. Children: Benjamin (d. in infancy), Edward, Freeman, Mary, Susannah.

Benjamin (2) Perry (Edward (1))was born probably 1677. and died 1742. Moved to Rhode Island, and purchased land in Kingstown as early as 1702. He was made a freeman of the colony May 1, 1716. He married first, Unknown: married second, October 11, 1727, Susanna Barber, of Moses and Susanna (Waite) Barber. She was born October 23, 1697. Children of his second wife:
I. Benjamin (3), born November 7, 1729. Died young.
II. Edward (3), born March 28, 1731, probably married January 7, 1759, Deliverance Moore, of Exeter.
III. Freeman (3), born January 23, 1733, died Nov. 13, 1813. Married (Mercy) Hazard, of Benjamin and had among others, Christopher Raymond (4), born Dec. 4, 1761, the father of Commodore O. H. Perry, U.S.N.
IV. Mary,
V. Susannah, (both) born November 19, 1735.
