Frank grew up in Rock Springs where he graduated from Rock Springs High School in 1962. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War. After his release from the army, Frank moved to Sweetwater County and worked for the Wyoming Department of Transportation. He later went to work for Stauffer Mine, now OCI, in Green River for 35 years.
In 1990, Frank met the love of his life, Barbara Hill. They were united in marriage in Las Vegas, in 1992. After Frank's retirement, they moved to Florence, Colo.
Frank was known for his beautiful roses. He had a passion for bowling and loved his animals. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.
Chevalier will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Barbara; children, Larry Wadsworth, Michelle Hill and Brian Russell, all of Maine, Matt Russell of Wyoming, and Troy Chevalier of Missouri; grandchildren; and sisters Wilma Bakka of Mesquite Nev. and Mona Starkovich of Boulder City, Nev.
