Died,
Saturday morning Feb. 28, 1897, of hemorrhage of the lungs, Mr. Chas. Nary, aged 29 years. Mr. Nary was the youngest son of Mrs. Susan Nary of Albion, was unmarried and lived with his mother. He had been in poor health for four or five years, and had been treated by the most skillful physicians for consumption. Last Saturday morning he was feeling unusually well and went to the barn to do chores. He had been out about half an hour, when Mrs. Nary went to the barn and found him lying on the floor dead. Bleeding from the mouth indicated that hemorrhage of the lungs had caused death. Young Mr. Nary was a brother of Albert Nary, was raised and educated in Albion, and had a large circle of friends who will mourn for his sad and untimely death. He was a member of Advent Christian Church in Albion, from which the funeral services were conducted Monday morning at 10 o'clock by Rev. M. Hamilton of Annandale, who preached an eloquent and touching sermon eulogizing the admirable character and patient Christian disposition of the young man, who has suffered so long from that most dead and emanciating disease, consumption. Messrs. J.E. Williams, Saul Dunn, Jarvis Howard, Edgar Rackliff, Orvis Travis and Dwight Travis acted as pall bearers, and the remains were interred in Lake View Cemetery, in Buffalo, followed by a large attendance of sorrowful and sympathetic relatives and friends, with whom the MESSENGER joins in extending sincere sympathy and condolence to Mrs. Nary and other members of the family.
