CHADWICK - Mildred Miller, 88, of Chadwick died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2001, in CGH Medical Center, Sterling.
Mildred was born Tuesday, Sept. 16, 1913, to William M. and Lucy A. Coffey Batty. Graduated from Stonington schools. Mildred married Eugene Conrad Miller in Dixon on April 27, 1936 Eugene died April 4, 1982.
Mildred was a homemaker. Member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Golden Rule Circle. She enjoyed golfing, reading and playing bridge.
Survivors include daughter, Carole Sue (Larry) Gipe of Milledgeville, son, Larry (Sandra) Miller of Chadwick, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mildred was preceded in death; by parents; Husband; three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral Services at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, in First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Chadwick, with the Rev. Kathy Burkheimer officiating. Burial in Chadwick Cemetery.
Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Frank-Law-Jones Funeral Home, 217 Main St. Chadwick.
A Memorial fund in her Memory has been established.
Because of allergies, the family requests that no fragrances be worn at visitation or the funeral.
