He was born September 5, 1886 in Knox County and was a resident of Mansfield from 1915-1948. Mr. Giffin was a retired postal railroad employee and a member of the Railway Mail Assn.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Martha Seger and Mrs. Naomi McPherson, both of Cleveland; two grandchildren.
Services will be held in the Wappner Funeral Home Saturday by Dr. J. Calvin Winder, pastor of the First United Presbyterian church. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
