Ms. Edith Talbot died peacefully at her home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; surrounded by all her beloved children. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Starns.
Ms. Talbot attended St. Mary's Dominican and Southwestern Louisiana Colleges. She was married for 57 loving years to the love of her life: Bobby Talbot Sr. She was of the Catholic faith and a homemaker.
Ms. Talbot was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband: Bobby Talbot Sr; 2 brothers: Karl Starns and Dick Starns; 1 sister: Audrey Gann; and 1 great-grandson: Juray.
She is survived by her four children: Vickie (Talbot) Tompley and her husband: Bill, Susan (Talbot) Snelling, Bobby Talbot Jr. and his wife: Lisa, and Nancy Talbot; her wonderful grandchildren: Josh, Jacob, Casey, Brittany, Jeramine, Gabriel, Sarah and Jordan; her precious great-grandchildren: Hailey, Celeste, Tayler, Ava, Jackson and Jude; other relatives; and many dear friends.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Thomas More Church on Saturday morning, March 1, 2014. Fr. Matthew McCaughey officiated the mass rites.
