He is the son of Mr. August E. & Mrs. Leila R. {Bohannan} Hoffman, and the delightful husband of Mrs. Sylvia S. Daily, and they were married in Dunlap, Illinois on July 10, 1999.
He does leave one daughter, Miss Paula Gillespie of Bradford, Illinois, three sons, Mr. August Hoffman, Jr. of Peoria Heights, Mark & Kenneth Hoffman of Dunlap, three stepdaughters, Mrs. Wendy {Ron} Day, and Mrs. Kimberly {James} Bush, both of Peoria, and Mrs. Sharon {Vince} Robison, of Chillicothe, eight Grandchildren, nine brothers, Seward [dead}, Frank, Roger, Fredrick, Loren, Ray, Nick, Robert, Paul, and five sisters, Elizabeth, May, June, Colaya, and Juanita.
Ace was a Welder at Caterpillar in East Peoria, and retired from there on August 31, 2011, and a member of the UAW Local 974.
August was a Good Man.
