James Bailes, 80, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at his residence in Athens, AL, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Bailes is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mildred Bailes; son and daughter in law, Rickey and Debra Bailes; son and daughter in law, Terry and Tracy Bailes; grandson, Jason Bailes; grandson, T. J. Bailes and his fiancé Delaina Slayton.
James was a man of great faith who loved family and family values. He was dearly loved and will be missed by many!
You may visit with the family on Thursday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Valhalla Funeral Home. There will be a chapel funeral service on Friday, February 28, 2014, at 12:00 Noon, conducted by Bro. Joe King, in Valhalla's Chapel. The interment will immediately follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
