Private inurnment will be in the mausoleum at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Mr. Harrison died Dec. 25, 1996, in Life Care Center, McMinnville. He was 80.
Born May 5, 1916, in Herman, Neb., he was the son of Edgar and Ellen Sundre Harrison. He was raised and educated in Nebraska. He then moved to Colorado.
He married Betty Sowers on Feb. 6, 1942, in Atez, N.M.
After marrying, he moved to Redondo Beach, Calif., living there for three years. He moved in 1944 to McMinnville, where he worked as a salesman for several different companies.
He worked for Field Emissions Research Corp. and later for Hewlett-Packard for 19 years.
He was a member of Union Lodge No. 3, A.M. & F.M., and of Yamhill County Shrine, Al Kader Temple. He was a 40-year member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, No. 1283, McMinnville. He had served in the Army.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Eric Harrison of Newberg; a daughter, Suzann Harrison of Medford; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital in care of Macy & Son Funeral Directors, 135 N. Evans St., McMinnville OR 97128.
