William Lowell Abel, of Houston, Texas died peacefully Monday at the young age of 91. He was an adored man with a twinkle in his eyes and a loving smile. He generously donated his time and talent to anyone who needed them throughout his life. He leaves behind his loving wife, Janice, of 68 years, daughters Marsha, Shelley, Marilyn and Carrie, sons-in-laws, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many friends and neighbors. He was a blessing and will be missed. A special thanks to hospice for making life at the end so special and comfortable. A visitation for Lowell will be Thursday, February 27, from 6-8 PM at Terrace United Methodist Church. Services celebrating Lowell's life will be Friday, February 28, at 10:00 AM at Terrace United Methodist Church, 1203 Wirt Road, Houston, TX. 77055. Concluding services Lowell will be laid to rest at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
