Moses F. McConnell, 725 Eagle Street, died late yesterday after an illness of three months. He was born in Merrickville, Canada, January 14, 1844, son of the late Henry and Agnes Crawford McConnell, and had lived in this city for the last 24 years.
Mr. McConnell was a retired railroad man and was a member of St. Joseph's Church. He married Margaret Jordan, who died several years ago. He will be mourned by a host of friends.
Surviving are eight daughters: Mrs. Mack White, Warsaw; Mrs. John Willett, Yorkville; Mrs. Thomas White, Portland Point, N.Y.; Mrs. D.F. Smith, Cohora (sp?); Mrs. Martin Welch, Alice, Monica, and Lauretta McConnell, all of this city; also three sons, William F., Ambrose, Camden and James R. McConnell, Portland Point.
