Belmont ~ Linda Poe Fesmire, age 54, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at her home while surrounded by her family.
She was born in Arlington, Virginia on April 27, 1959, the daughter of Harvey Wilson Poe and the late Mary Elizabeth Lawrence.
Linda attended Forest Pointe Church and formerly ownedand operated Minute Press print shop with her husband. She had worked with Springs Industries and Northeast Textiles as a Designer/Colorist. Linda loved her family dearly, had a real compassion for others and had a love for nature and being anywhere outdoors.
She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Edward "Ed" Fesmire, Jr.; beloved daughters Kelly McHugh Chtcheprov and husband Pavel of Chapel Hill, Erin McHugh of Belmont, stepdaughter Leah Fesmire and fiance' Scott Maness of Lowell; nephews Nathan and Brian Poe.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother David Poe.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM, Tuesday at McLean Funeral Directors, Belmont. A service celebrating her life will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday in the Bumgardner Chapel of the funeral home. Interment will be in Evergreen – "A Quiet Place".
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice&Palliative Care Charlotte Region or to Forest Pointe Church.
