DELHI, La., Nov. 30. — (Special) — The funeral of Mrs. John M. Smith, 66, of Delhi, who died in a hospital here Thursday afternoon, was held in the Delhi Baptist Church, Friday at 3:30 p.m. The pastor, Rev. C. F. Almond, officiated and the interment was in Masonic Cemetery, directed by the Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville.

She is survived by her husband; six sons, Howard Smith, Delhi; H. S. Smith, New Orleans; Grover Smith, West Monroe; J. B. Smith and Aubrey Smith, Lake Charles, and Tracy Smith, Camp Atterbery, Ind.; and four brothers, eight sisters, and 11 grandchildren.

Mrs. Smith had been a resident of Delhi for 15 years and was a member of the Baptist Church.
