Mrs. Huff was supervisor of the high school lunch room after retiring from First National Bank. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Madison and served on various committees. She was a member of the Georgia Mallory Sunday School Class, First United Methodist Women, the Intercessory Prayer Ministry and the Prime Timers. Mrs. Huff was a member of the Historical Society, the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center and the Red Hatters. She enjoyed playing cards, reading, travelling and spending time with friends.
Mrs. Huff was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle L. Huff, her daughter, Pamela Huff Scruggs and brothers, J.L. Burroughs and H.B. Burroughs. She is survived by her son, Larry Huff and Joanne and son-in-law, Steve Scruggs. Her grandchildren are Joe & Dena Huff, Kim & Ed Hoy, Geanie & Joe Blanton, Pam & Bill Lee and Lisa & Shane Foster. She also leaves eleven great grandchildren, two nieces and four great nieces and nephews.
The family will received friends on Sunday, February 23 at 2:00 pm at A.E. Carter Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 4:00 pm at the Madison City Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 2 at 2:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church of Madison with a reception to follow.
