Sebastian--Services were held at Sebastian Baptist Church Tuesday for Thomas Jefferson Alexander, 76, who died Monday at the home of his son, Ray Alexander in Sebastian.

Mr. Alexander had been a resident of the Valley since 1912 and of Willacy county since 1918. He was born December 12, 1865 in Giddings, Texas and was married on October 6, 1886 to Ada Forum at Tow, Texas. Rev. Claud Hennessee, Oilton, officiated. Interment will be at Lyford cemetery.

Survivors include sons, Roy of Sebastian; Robert of Conroe; Edgar of Florida; Ross of Tennessee; and Everett of Galveston; daughters, Mrs. John Mosser (Mollie) of Corpus Christi; Mrs. Gladys Heaton of San Antonio; and Mrs. Joe Ellington of Louisiana; sisters, Mrs. Addie Davis and Mrs. Maggie Elkins of Santa Anna; and brothers Will and Arthur of Tow. Pallbearers were A. C. Slayton, Bill Foster, Lem Mood, Davis Wood, B. O. Bourne, and M. S. Woods.
