BALLINGER, Eugenia age 67 of Huber Heights, passed away Wednesday February 19, 2014, following a courageous five year battle with cancer. She was born January 5, 1947 in Lackey, KY, the daughter of Marrow and Wilda (Brewer) Conley. Eugenia was a 1965 graduate of Baker High School in Fairborn. She was preceded in death by her mother. Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Mark; two children, Sean Layne and wife Sandy of Clayton, Deanna (Layne) Johnson of Fairborn; four grandchildren, Savannah Layne, Samantha Layne, Derek Johnson, Dylan Whitt; two great-grandchildren, Madison Layne, Hailey Rodgers; a brother, Hamlet "Buddy" Conley; a sister, Patricia Conley; a niece, Tina Wabler; and two cats, Camo and Baby. The family will receive friends on Sunday February 23, 2014 from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, where a funeral service will be held on Monday February 24, 2014 at 11:00 A.M., Pastor Ken Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Byron Cemetery.
