Morrison, Arthur W., died in Sacramento on Oct. 17, 2002, at the age of 82. Loving husband of 37 years to Jacquelyn; father to Jeanette and Gloria; and grandfather to Nicholas. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002 at 10:00 am, followed by funeral services at 11:00 am, both at St. Joseph's Chapel (at St. Mary's Cemetery).

Arthur was previously known as Arthur William Morris. Not sure of the exact date, but sometime between 1946 - 1965 his name changed. We also have that his birth date was Dec 19, 1919. That is what
is listed on his Military Discharge papers. He also had a different SS#
Arthur was married to Naomi Ruth Boynton on April 14, 1945 in Coweta Co, GA.
They had a daughter on Jan. 26, 1946 in Atlanta, Fulton Co, GA, named Shirley Ann (Morris) Quick. They divorced on Sept 1, 1947. Arthur was never heard from again.
In April of 2013, Arthur's 3 daughter's got to meet each other for the first time. Shirley never knew that Gloria and Jeanette existed, and vise-versa...
We do believe that he may have been married before and that there are possibly other siblings out there. As to the reason for the name change, that is unknown and we may never know.
So, as far as we know at the moment, technically Arthur had: 3 daughters, 4 Grandchildren, 9 Great-grandchildren, 13 Great-great grandchildren
