Carol J. Bryan, 76, of Bennett died Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at Cedar Manor Nursing Home, Tipton, Iowa.
A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Chapman Funeral Home, Clarence, Iowa, with Pastor Lynn Butterbrodt officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Burial will be in Inland Cemetery near Bennett.
Carol Joanne Dahl was born November 10, 1937, in Wilton, Iowa, to Oscar and Frances (Longbothem) Dahl. She married Herbert David Bryan Jr. on March 5, 1960, in Blue Grass, Iowa. He died September 22, 2010.
Carol enjoyed going to the Lake of the Ozarks and Canada to fish. She enjoyed camping in her younger years. She was a member of the 3/30 Club in Lowden, Iowa.
Survivors include a son, Daniel Bryan of Tipton; three grandchildren, Hannah, Christopher and Connor; and a brother, Dave (Bev) Dahl of Bennett.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a son in infancy, Timothy J. Bryan.
