Garcey Theodore Stansell was born on January 15, 1880 to the late James and Mary Stansell in Jessamine County, KY.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Almie Lee Stansell, siblings, sisters; Alice Lowry and Julia Bryant, brothers; William, Doyle, James, Henry, and Clarence.

Theodore is survived by his wife Mattie Marie Stansell (née Haley), children; Lurline (Frank) Mass, Lillie (Harry) Stewart, Anna (George) Reuss, Harry Stansell, Ollie (Lura) Stansell, Russell (Janet) Stansell, Rosie (Homer) Beach, Theodore (Myrtle) Stansell. As well as a host of grandkids, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
