Marjorie Day Page, 82, of Midvale, passed away March 27, 2002 in Salt Lake City.

She was born July 4, 1919 in Draper, Utah to Joseph Boyce and Maysel Enniss Day. She spent her early years in Draper and graduated from Salt Lake General Hospital School of Nursing in 1941.

She married Waldo Gwynne Page on May 20, 1943 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She worked as a Registered Nurse for several years, leaving nursing to raise her family. After Waldo's death on July 6, 1972, she enjoyed working at Castleton's until her retirement. She enjoyed sewing for her family, bowling, traveling, Diet Sprite and "One Life To Live". Most of all Mother loved her family, giving tender care to her parents throughout their lives and to her daughter Shannon.

She is survived by her four daughters: Wynne (Jay) Hintze and Shannon Page of Draper, Sheila (Michael) Page Cox of Salt Lake City, Marcia (Phil) Perkes of Idaho Falls, Idaho; six grandchildren: Darren (Areta) Peterson, John Perkes, Elder Michael Perkes, Laura Perkes, Andrew Cox and Matthew Cox; two great-granddaughters: Paige and Claire Peterson; eight special step-grandchildren.

Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother J. Bernell Day.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 2, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. in the Midvale LDS Sixth Ward, 8171 S. Jackson St. (250 W.) Friends may call Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State and at the Church on Tuesday one hour prior to services. Burial will be Larkin Sunset Gardens.
