Mrs. Mattie Virginia Barco, 75, widow of Peter D. Barco and the daughter of the late William P. and Mrs. Mary Virginia Whitehurst East, died at a local hospital last night at 9:15 o'clock. Mrs. Barco was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and made her residence at 1800 East Olney Road at the time of her death. She was a member of the Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Julian Kelly and Mrs. Ralph W. MacDonald, and one son, E. Bailey Barco, all of Norfolk, and five grandchildren. The body was taken to the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.

Mrs. Mattie Virginia Barco.-Funeral services for Mrs. Barco, widow of Peter D. Barco, who died Thursday night at a local hospital, will be held at the chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, with the Rev W. D. Morris, pastor of Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church, and the Rev. John F. Ward, rector of the Church of the Ascension, officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
