OBIT TOLEDO BLADE MAY 30, 1996
GLEN CLARENCE HODGE, age 85, passed away peacefully on May 28, 1996 in Foundation Park Care Center. Mr. Hodge served in WW II with the 100th Infantry Division and retired from Sharon Mfg Company in 1976. He enjoyed working outdoors,
gardening and landscaping into his 80's. He had a deep love for animals. Glen was very compassionate and derived much satisfaction in helping others. His sense of humor was one of his best attributes, and his greatest joy was in making others laugh.
He is survived by his wife, Gertrude, son, Robert, daughter, Glenda (Jon) Foreman, sisters, Gladys (Clarence) Davis of Texas and Bertha Mohr, Toledo and brother, Howard (Lois) Hodge, also of Toledo.
The family would like to thank all of those at Foundation Park who touched Glen's life for their kindness and loving care. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer Association. There will be no visitation and private grave side services at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, will be held Thursday. Ansberg-West Funeral Directors, 3000 Sylvania Avenue are handling the arrangements for the Hodge family. (472-7633)
