Celia Ann Moss Hughes , age 72, passed away June 29, 1991 at St. Mark's Hospital following surgery.
She was born June 17, 1919 in Centerville, Utah to Ralph and Hazel Roberts Moss. She married Austin L. Hughes October 31, 1942 in Stockton, California. He preceded her in death on July 2, 1966. She graduated from Davis High School and attended LDS Business College.
She was a retired bookkeeper, and a member of the Bountiful 21st LDS Ward. She had been active for many years in the Beta Sigma Phi sorority and was currant president of XI Alpha Gamma Bountiful Chapter at the time of her death.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann Smail of Park City, Utah; and one son, Dale Hughes of Ogden, Utah; two sisters and two brothers, Mary Felshaw of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Imogene Hatch of Colorado Springs, Colo.; John Moss of Idaho falls, Idaho; and Bob Moss of West Jordan, Utah; seven grandchildren, Scott and Melissa Hughes of Kingsbeach, Calif.; Bryan, Zachary and Richard Smail of Park City, Utah; Brandon Stromberg and Derek Hughes , both of Ogden, Utah; four great-grandchildren, T. J. Hughes , Jeramy Hughes , Nikki Hughes , and Cody Hughes , all of Phoenix, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother, Grace Kerr and Vaughn Moss.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. and 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery, Bountiful, Utah. Russon Brothers Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
