Ray was a boy whose strong, true sympathies endeared him to all who came within the circle of his friendship. He leaves parents, brother and sister, who will tenderly cherish (sic) his memory.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Dazey. His teacher and school mates attended the funeral. The remains were interred in the Geneva Cemetery.
CARD OF THANKS. We ask the many kind friends to accept our thanks for the kindly assistance given us through the sickness and death of our son and brother, Ray. May friends be with you when sorrow meets you. Joseph Adams and Family (Fillmore County Republican 11 JAN 1893 pg 5)
