Ocean Pines- Jeannette G. Abrams, 80, of Ocean Pines, died on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin. Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Greenfield and Fannie Penner Greenfield and the wife of the late Edwin F. Abrams.

She was a member of Temple Bat Yam in Ocean Pines. She was a retired editor and writer for the American Federation of Government Employees. She enjoyed reading, politics, listening to classical music and spending time with her family.

Jeannette is survived by 4 children, Harry Michael Abrams of Sierra Vista, AZ, Ann Lynn Jordan and her husband, David of Austin, TX, Marla Beth Watts and her husband, Gary of Chestertown and Barbara Ruth Blitva and her husband, Stephan of York, PA; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; a sister, Eleanor Kaufman and her husband, Jim of FL; and a brother, Paul Greenfield of MD.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 17, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Temple Bat Yam in Ocean Pines with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery in Salisbury with Rabbi Susan Warshaw officiating.
