Nettie Alexander Passes Near Visalia
Mrs. Nettie Ella Alexander, 64, a native of Brownwood, Texas, died yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Roeben, on West Sierra Boulevard. She had resided in Visalia since 1933. Mrs. Alexander came to California 20 years ago and settled in Los Angeles, where she resided until moving to this city. Funeral services will be conducted from the Hadley chapel tomorrow afternoon at 2 oclock, with the Rev. Pepper, pastor of the Full Gospel church, of which Mrs. Alexander was a member, officiating. Burial will take place in the Visalia cemetery. Survivors are: four daughters, Mrs. William Roeben, Mrs. E. P. Chester and Mrs. O. L. Latham, Visalia and Mrs. E. F. Mettler, Phoenix, Ariz.; five sons, R. D. and W. F. Alexander, Visalia: J. C. Alexander, Alhambra; S. W. Alexander, Wilmar, and M. R. Alexander, San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, T. C. Eiland, Hemet City, and J. T. Eiland, Boise City, Okla.; and four sisters, Mrs. Irene Faulkner, Venice; Mrs. Bell Miller, Alba, Texas; Mrs. Lon Johnson, Dunn, Texas, and Mrs. Mollie Carpenter, Abilene, Texas."
