Neldon Lee "Ned" Cundick, age 88, a longtime resident of Weston and Preston, Idaho, passed away on February 14, 2014 from congestive heart failure at Franklin County Medical Center.

He was born October 22, 1925 in West Jordan, Utah to Samuel and Charlotte Ida Crane Cundick. He attended school in West Jordan and Jordan high school.

He enlisted in the Navy and served in the Pacific on a destroyer escort during World War II from 1944-1946.

After returning home, Ned finished his high school diploma and married his high school sweetheart, LeRae Beckstead, on March 14, 1947 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Ned owned and operated a dairy farm in West Jordan, Utah until 1971 when he moved his family and the dairy to Weston, Idaho.

He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings and was a High Priest at the time of his death.

He loved spending time on the golf course with his wife and friends. His happiest moments in life were spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren in activities they all loved like camping, fishing, bowling, golfing and cheering at their school activities.

After retiring from dairy farming, they built a home in Preston, Idaho. Together with LeRae, they enjoyed spending winters in Mesa, Arizona and met many lifelong friends.
