She used the nickname of Corinne throughout her life. Corinne did not work outside the home except for a one-day period when she worked a single night for Ligget's Drug Store. She passed away on 26 Dec 1992 and her funeral Mass was held on 30 Dec 1992 at St Gerald Church, 21300 Farmington Road in Farmington, Michigan. Burial was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, Michigan. Her published obituary in the Detroit News read as follows:
