Mr. Collard was born at Dayton March 22, 1887, the son of Elihu and Isaphena Collard. He lived in the Dayton and Newberg area until 1945, when he moved to the coast, where he had lived since.
He worked for many years at the Spaulding lumber mill here.
Surviving are two sisters, Helen Stevenson and Jessie Spady, both of Portland.
