After that occurred, he came to live in the old home with his grandmother and father where he spent most of his life until he was thirty eight. Was at one time employed upon the John Simpkins estate, and in Alden Knowles' grocery store. He was prominent in Masonic Circles and a Master Mason. In 1918 he accepted employment in the grocery store of Wm Cowlishaw of New Britain, Conn. and at the time of this writing (1920) was unmarried and living in New Britain Conn. In 1921 he became manager of the Economy Grocery Co. of New Britain."
