Jack was born at the Claremore Indian Hospital in Claremore, OK on June 27, 1935 to Daniel Foreman Sr.and Sarah (Bearpaw) Foreman. He went home to Heaven on February 14, 2014. Jack was the third son out of 5 sons and one sister. He started his schooling in Stilwell, Oklahoma and then the family relocated to Tulsa. Due to the illness of his father, Jack had to quit school during his sophomore year and began working. When he was 41, he passed his GED test and received his diploma. In 1956, Jack enlisted in the Army and did his basic training in Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX. He was taught engineering skills and helped build bridges in Germany. Upon returning home, he worked as a wrought iron furniture builder and also for a time installing furnaces. During the time he was installing furnaces he was stricken with a respiratory disease and almost lost his life. Through the prayers of many people, God spared him but had to lose part of one of his lungs. A preacher named Raymond Curley from the Tulsa area led Jack to the Lord and he made a profession of faith to Jesus Christ in the early 1950's and was baptized. Jack attended Barber Baptist Church and wasa member of Calvary Indian Baptist Church and served as a Sunday School teacher. Jack was a quiet gentle man, who in his later years was the main caregiver to his father and his mother. His favorite way to relax and unwind was to go fishing and he would go with his brother Sam as often as they could, for as long as they were able. He will be greatly missed by all those who know and loved him. Jack is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Sr., his mother Sarah, his sister Oleta Foreman, and two brothers, Waitie Tarepin and Daniel Foreman, Jr.
